South Africa earn themselves a penalty advantage at a scrum not far outside the All Blacks 22 and they attack down the right. Feinberg-Mngomezulu puts a lovely grubber kick through that Kolbe gets on the end of. Kolbe looks destined to score but a terrific covering tackle from J Barrett dislodges the ball over the line.
We go back for the penalty, which South Africa put towards the corner. They are then awarded a free-kick, which they take quickly...
All Blacks scrum-half Hotham is down and he is not going to be able to continue. He is only just back from an ankle injury but it appears to be a head injury as his head made contact with de Jager’s knee as he attempted to tackle the giant Springbok lock.
In fact de Jager himself is not going to be able to continue, perhaps it is a dead leg for the second row from that tackle. Snyman is on in his place.
South Africa are awarded a penalty on halfway as Lomax is punished for coming in at the side of a ruck whilst the All Blacks were in possession.
