Meghan McCain posted a hot take on social media Friday that left a lot of people cold.
The former co-host of “The View” decided to comment on Wednesday’s murder of far-right activist Charlie Kirk, by making a bold, bold claim about the differences between conservatives like her and those danged liberals:
I think the fundamental difference between the right and the left in this country is that the left glorifies death - particularly of adversaries and the right does not.
And it’s not something I think I really have fully faced until Charlie’s assassination. And it’s petrifying.
McCain’s theory might sound legit in the confines of a conservative news bubble, but many people on social media felt obliged to point out some things she may have forgotten.
