An employee of Colin Firth's ex-wife's fashion firm is facing jail after he stole £500,000 from its accounts in a fraud plot which plunged the business into financial ruin.

Stavros Pavlou, 64, drained half-a-million pounds from sustainable fashion consultancy Eco-Age Limited between June 2022 and April 2024, when he was head of finance.

The business was owned by Livia Guiggioli, 56, who was married to award-winning actor Colin until 2019 - when it was alleged she had an affair with Italian journalist Marco Brancaccia, 55.

Founded in 2007 as a family shop in west London, her business advised leading fashion brands and creatives on how to make the widely-criticised industry's products more sustainable.

However, Ms Guiggioli announced last July that the firm would be 'tragically' closing down due to a devastating financial crisis which she claimed 'was targeted by criminals'.
