Two people were wounded – one seriously and one lightly – after a Palestinian man from East Jerusalem's Shoafat refugee camp stabbed people at a hotel near Jerusalem.
The stabbing took place in a hotel's dining room in Kibbutz Tzoba. The police said the incident was a terror attack.
The suspect, 42, worked as hotel staff and was involved in security offenses in the past, police sources said. The victims were guests, they said. The suspect was subdued by an off-duty police officer who happened to stay at the hotel and another guest.
Witnesses told police that the man had shouted "I want to die" before the incident.
