A Chinese actor and singer who starred in the popular Netflix show 'Eternal Love' has died aged 37 after falling from a building.
The sudden death of Yu Menglong has left fans across Asia grief-stricken as countless supporters mourn the loss of one of the country's most popular celebrities.
Yu, born in 1988 in China's Midong District, became a household name after starring in the hit fantasy-romance drama in 2017. Before that, he had grown a fanbase for his role in Chinese historical web drama 'Go Princess Go'.
The star 'fell to his death' on September 11, his management confirmed.
'With unbearable sorrow, we announce that our beloved Menglong fell to his death on September 11. Police have ruled out any criminality. We hope he rests in peace and his loved ones remain strong,' the company said in a video statement on Weibo.
