A blood delivery rider who 'died saving others' after crashing into a van will be remembered with a special memorial ride by volunteers from the charity he worked for.
Timothy Minett, 78, was driving his Honda while taking life-saving NHS supplies for Blood Bike Wales when he collided into a Volkswagen van on the A478 in Pembrokeshire.
He died at the scene.
Blood Bike Wales, which uses volunteers to deliver emergency blood, donor milk and other medical supplies between hospitals, paid tribute on Facebook, saying its 'suffered a heartbreaking loss'.
'Our friend and volunteer rider Tim Minett tragically lost his life in a collision while carrying out his duties for the charity.'
