Seth Meyers on Wednesday called out President Donald Trump over his lie-fueled campaign to make Washington, D.C., a “safer” place before turning to how he’s “especially fixated” on dining in the nation’s capital.

The “Late Night” host played a supercut of Trump boasting that people can go out to restaurants again because he deployed National Guard troops to the city, including a clip of his “very weird” comment last month about Fox News’ Sean Hannity and his relationship with “Fox & Friends” host Ainsley Earhardt.

“There’s a guy named Sean Hannity, he might take a very lovely young lady that he knows very, very well to dinner in Washington,” said Trump, who called in to “Fox & Friends” as Earhardt reacted to his comments on live TV.

The president continued, “And they don’t have to, they don’t have to — she’s sitting right next to you, by the way. I better — I don’t want to get him in trouble so I better explain exactly. We don’t want any secrets here.”

Meyers bluntly replied, “Well, I think they maybe wanted secrets here or else they would have fucking spilled the beans!”
