“They offer practicality without losing the commitment vibe,” stylist Peter Martinez, co-founder at fashion brand Leather Skin Shop, told HuffPost in that previous story. “The trend is gaining traction fast, as more men are ditching metal for these flexible, lightweight rings that won’t snag or hurt during work or workouts.” He added that silicone rings are also “wallet-friendly compared to gold or platinum, and silicone is eco-friendlier than mined metals, which adds appeal.”
