M.K. Muneer, Indian Union Muslim League (IUML) leader and Koduvally MLA, was admitted to Meitra Hospital in Kozhikode, Kerala, on Thursday (September 11, 2025) after suffering a cardiac arrest caused by hypokalemia, a dangerously low level of potassium in the blood.
Sources said prompt medical intervention by a multi-disciplinary team saved Dr. Muneer’s life, and he is currently receiving treatment in the critical care unit.
