Hosur takes centre stage in Tamil Nadu’s growth journey, with fresh investments worth several crores set to be signed at the T.N. Rising Hosur Investors Summit on Thursday (September 11, 2025).
Interestingly, Tamil Nadu has managed to woo investments from companies headquartered in its neighbouring State, Karnataka.
Among the major deals to be signed is an MoU with Bengaluru-based Zetwerk Manufacturing Businesses Private Limited, entailing investments to the tune of ₹5,000 crore. The firm has proposed to set up a solar cell manufacturing facility in Tamil Nadu. The project will augment the domestic solar value chain by catalysing ancillary industries (glass, backsheets, silver paste, machinery), and boost energy security by green exports. This deal will generate over 3,000 jobs.
