“Daily Show” correspondent Michael Kosta on Tuesday argued that Donald Trump has a “wonderful future as an artist” as he weighed in on the “creepy” card the president allegedly created for the infamous Jeffrey Epstein “birthday book.”
Kosta — after complimenting the president for purportedly leaving an “excellent” sketch of an outline of a woman’s body in the book — turned to the camera with a blunt message about the “crappy” drawing.
“As a student of history, one thing I’ve learned is when a certain type of person dreams of being a great artist, we should encourage that instead,” quipped Kosta in a not-so-subtle nod to Adolf Hitler’s aspirations of becoming an artist.
Kosta described the letter — which Trump has referred to as a “dead issue” and denied writing to the convicted sex offender, who died in 2019 — as “strangely cryptic.”
He conceded the note could be “totally innocent,” however, and pointed to one line that references having “certain things in common” with Epstein.
