"I've been using the usual thin rubber grippers for years now to open jars. Purchased this because it was on sale, and I LOVE the pop-top opener from the same company. This jar opener is just as awesome. Very easy to use. Keeps a firm grip. The ultimate test was yesterday. Had a jar cap that was 'glued' shut with hot fudge. Not even the teenagers in the house could get the top off. I grabbed this. Arthritis and all, it worked! To be fair, it took a bit of a grip, but it still did the trick with one twist without having to run hot water over the jar to melt the fudge. Highly recommend." — Me
