Eco-millionaire Dale Vince heaped praise on the new Green Party leader Zack Polanski last night - saying he could be a leftwing version of Nigel Farage.
Mr Vince, the entrepreneur and Labour party supporter, said Mr Polanski was 'exactly what the Green Party needs', following the former actor and hypnotist's election win last week.
He likened the 'exciting' 42-year-old London Assembly member to Reform leader Mr Farage as well as Donald Trump and Boris Johnson, in 'cutting through, communicating to people' in a direct manner.
But speaking to Times Radio last night be stopped short of saying he would donate money to the Greens, as he has in the past.
And later, on Twitter, he added: 'Zack might very well be Britain's second green populist - he very much gets the concept and embodies it well.
