Three of the UK's most important warships are sailing side-by-side with several South Korean military vessels as a show of strength.

Flagship HMS Prince of Wales, along with destroyer HMS Dauntless and frigate HMS Richmond, were seen traversing the Indo-Pacific with ROKS Soyang ROKS Kang Gam Chan and ROKS Nampo.

The formation came as part of Operation Highmast, a months-long exercise that has seen UK Carrier Strike Group sail across the world since April.

Since then the task group has passed through the Mediterranean, Middle East, and Indian Ocean visiting Singapore and Australia.

It has now shifted its focus to Asia.
