Sept. 9 (UPI) -- At least six people are in critical condition after a school bus carrying a Minco softball team crashed on Monday night, according to officials.
Authorities said the bus was carrying 13 people and it crashed around 8 p.m. CDT on State Highway 152 near Country Street 2760.
As of Tuesday morning, no fatalities have been reported but a few students and a coach are in critical condition.
"Our Minco Public Schools softball team was in a serious accident west of Minco," Minco Public Schools Superintendent Kevin Sims posted on social media. "Multiple individuals on the bus were severely injured. We will be closing school tomorrow. Please keep these student-athletes, coaches, and their families in your prayers."
The cause of the crash is still unclear.
