Francesca Albanese, the United Nations Special Rapporteur for the Occupied Palestinian Territories, said Tuesday that she would not be surprised if Israel were behind an alleged drone attack on a boat belonging to the Global Sumud Flotilla (GSF) off Tunisia.
"We don't know who carried out the attack, but we wouldn't be surprised if it were Israel," Albanese, who has been subjected to sanctions by the US government, told reporters in Tunis, according to Sky News.
"If confirmed, it would be an attack on Tunisian sovereignty".
