Quarterback Josh Allen and the rest of the Buffalo Bills have one of the league’s most devoted followings, but the reigning MVP questioned the commitment of some fans on Sunday.

After leading Buffalo from a 15-point deficit with about 4 minutes left to a 41-40 victory over the Baltimore Ravens, he took issue with spectators’ premature exit. USA Today reported the Bills’ stadium was a third empty in the fourth quarter.

“I think there’s people that left the stadium,” Allen said. “That’s OK. We’ll be fine. But have some faith next time.”

Given that some members of the so-called Bills Mafia crash through tables to express their devotion (don’t try this at home, or anywhere, please), Allen reminding people to keep believing in the face of adversity wasn’t such a big ask.

His comment was a lot more gracious than another headline-making counterpart on Sunday, quarterback Aaron Rodgers.
