Along spate of fatal workplace accidents continued in Italy on Monday with three men losing their lives in separate labour-related incidents in Turin, Monza and Sicily.

The first victim was a 69-year-old worker of Egyptian origin, who died when the the basket of a crane he was working in fell.

Another victim was a 40-year-old worker who fell from scaffolding in the province of Catania town of Riposto.

Then a 48-year-old worker was killed at a factory that produces industrial valves in Monza.

According to initial findings, the man was crushed by machinery.
