The Italy Pavilion at Expo 2025 Osaka has received a makeover for the final part of the universal exhibition which is set to end on October 13.
Visitors will in fact be able to admire the Gonfalone della Giustizia (Banner of Justice) by Perugino.
The painting by the Renaissance Umbrian master became a permanent feature of the pavilion after starring during the week dedicated to Umbria, which kicked off with its presentation on August 31.
"Umbria left a mark at Expo 2025 Osaka", said the Commissioner General for Italy at Expo 2025 Osaka, Mario Vattani.
"We are grateful to this Region" for this "splendid oeuvre by Perugino", he noted.
