It all started with messages exchanged from a smuggled phone behind bars.
Father-of-three Lenny Scott had been working as an officer at HMP Altcourse, in Liverpool, when he discovered a mobile phone in a prisoner's cell.
What was uncovered from the device was a 'sexual relationship' between dangerous inmate Elias Morgan and prison officer Sarah Williams.
The mother-of-three, who had only been working at the prison for less than a year, had exchanged intimate texts and images with not one, but three inmates.
When Mr Scott made the discovery, Morgan warned him to 'balls up the paperwork' and even offered him £1,500 not to report the phone.
