The Hong Kong-born freelance photojournalist, best known for her award-winning work focusing on the humanitarian impact of war, is based in Istanbul, Turkey. The Middle East is a key focus of her work.
Since 2012, she has documented the war in Syria, including the December 2024 fall of Bashar al-Assad’s regime, and other major events such as the 2011 revolution in Libya that led to the overthrow of Muammar Gaddafi, and the Arab spring protests in Egypt.
