Last Monday, four shells struck Nasser Hospital in Khan Yunis, killing 22 people. In the nine minutes between the first and second strikes, medical staff and journalists gathered at the site of the first hit – on the hospital's emergency stairwell. Television cameras were pointed there, which is why the second, deadly strike was so thoroughly recorded.
