Raegan Revord, the teen star known for playing Missy Cooper on the wildly popular "Big Bang Theory" spinoff "Young Sheldon," is confirming their gender identity.

Revord, 17, opened up about how important representation in film and media can be, in a new interview with Entertainment Tonight.

"It's so cool because growing up, whenever I would see a celebrity or whoever come out as nonbinary or queer, I was like, 'Oh my god, this is so cool, I see myself in you,'" Revord told the outlet. "It's so crazy to have that experience where I'm now that person and there might be a kid somewhere who's like, 'Oh my god, I see myself in you.'"

This ‘Young Sheldon’ star wrote a book on set and now you can read it

They continued: "That's such an insane thing because I was in that kid's shoes at some point in my life."
