The Basava Samskriti Abhiyan, a programme with a chariot procession organised to spread the principles of Basaveshwara and other saints of the 12th century, stressed humanity and brotherhood, and primarily urged the spread of the principles of Basaveshwara and other saints.

The programme was held at Patil Convention Hall in Yadgir, under the banner of Sahamatha Vedike, under the chairmanship of Shanta Veeramurugharajendra Mahaswamiji of Khasa Mutt, Gurmitkal.
