Two beloved grandmothers who tragically fell to their deaths from Whitby cliffs have been named.
Joan Blanchon, 69, and Susan Fawcett, 58, were found dead near the cliffs last month.
They were among four people who died after falling from the cliffs within a five day time frame.
North Yorkshire Police confirmed Ms Blanchon was found dead near the Pavillion on July 31.
Only two days later, on August 2, Ms Fawcett was also discovered deceased at Sandsend below the cliffs behind the main car park.
