A man and a woman have been charged over an incident which saw a video of a girl allegedly brandishing an axe and a machete go viral online.
The girl, who had already been charged with possession of offensive weapons, was allegedly seen wielding the blades in the Lochee area of Dundee, Scotland on August 23.
A viral clip of the incident drew attention from the likes of Elon Musk and Tommy Robinson after false claims online appeared to suggest those filming it were illegal migrants.
Police Scotland swiftly denounced the disinformation in a statement.
The incident saw two young girls being filmed on a roadside grass verge close to the city's High Street.
