A teenage murderer who stabbed a boy to death can be named and pictured for the first time.

Kennie Carter, 16, was walking home in Stretford when he was killed by L'Vaion Peniston, then 14, as part of a tit-for-tat feud in 2022.

Last July, Peniston was found guilty of murder and sentenced to detention in a youth offenders' institution with a minimum term of 16 years

In total, four teenagers were sentenced for killing the teenager in the attack where a single stab 'pierced his heart'.

Manchester Crown Court heard the group of youths acted in revenge for an incident that happened the day before the murder, where 'metal poles' were brandished.
