Three universities in the Capital secured positions in the top five in the higher education rankings announced by the National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF) on Thursday. Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU) retained its second spot, while Jamia Millia Islamia (JMI) slipped one spot to fourth position. Delhi University (DU) moved up from sixth position to fifth this year.
In the best college category, the top five are from DU, with Hindu College occupying the top position, followed by Miranda House, Hansraj College, Kirori Mal College, and St. Stephen’s College.
