Sept. 4 (UPI) -- A federal judge set a court date for Milwaukee County Circuit Court Judge Hannah Dugan on charges that she attempted to help a man evade deportation by obstructing immigration officials.

Judge Lynn Adelman on Wednesday set the trial date for Dec. 15, with jury selection to take place on Dec. 11 and Dec. 12.

Dugan pleaded not guilty to federal charges, including one count of obstructing an official proceeding and concealing a person from arrest and another count of concealing an individual to prevent his discovery and arrest.

Prosecutors charged that on April 18, Hannah Dugan sent the agents down a hallway then guided Eduardo Flores-Ruiz, over whose domestic abuse case she was presiding, and his attorney out through the jurors' door of her courtroom.
