Since the first Letters Live event in 2013, some 120,000 audience members have enjoyed stars of stage and screen reading out what its founder calls “correspondence deserving of a wider audience”.

The events have featured letters written by figures as diverse as Iggy Pop and Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart — and been read by A-listers ranging from Olivia Colman to Gillian Anderson and Benedict Cumberbatch, who is a co-producer of the show.

Now, Times readers — and everybody else — have the opportunity for their letter to be read on stage at this year’s Letters Live event, supported by Montblanc, at the Royal Albert Hall in November. All you need to do is put pen to (digital or physical) paper and write a letter to the capital.

The competition has been open across the summer and there are just a few weeks left in which to enter. All the details are below.
