Despite his regular invectives against Israel, Turkey's firebrand President Recep Tayyip Erdogan faces considerable public anger for not doing enough for Palestinians. But while the two leaders spar back and forth, two larger issues hang in the balance: Turkey's Jewish community, and Israel's influence in Syria.
