Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah, on September 4, inaugurated Phase-II of the K. C. Valley project for filling 30 tanks and lakes in Kolar taluk by supplying treated sewage water from the Lakshmisagar Pump House in Kolar district.
The second phase of the K.C. Valley project would be completed by December 2025, which would ensure the filling of 272 lakes. The project will be implemented at a cost of ₹446 crore.
