Injury-ravaged Australian Nick Kyrgios says he would not even need to ‘try 100 per cent’ to beat women’s world No 1 Aryna Sabalenka
Hong Kong could play host to the next “Battle of the Sexes” with tennis stars Nick Kyrgios and Aryna Sabalenka rumoured to be working on a rare man-versus-woman clash in the city in January.
Australian and British media have reported a potential match between the pair could take place in the lead up to the Australian Open, while Kyrgios has said he would not even need to be at the top of his game to beat the women’s world No 1.
And while the injury-ravaged Australian said he was “super-excited” about the prospect, he said the three-time grand slam champion was “not going to beat me, do you really think I have to try 100 per cent?”
