Ryan Lochte is responding to his ex-wife’s claims that he used drugs in front of their three children.
Kayla Lochte accused the former Olympic swimmer of inhaling nitrous oxide in front of their children, according to an Us Weekly report published on Tuesday.
The former couple share three children together: Caiden, 8, Liv, 6, and Georgia, 2.
In court documents viewed by Us Weekly, Kayla Lochte argues that “shared parental responsibility would be detrimental to the children because [Ryan] has a history of substance abuse and, upon information and belief, he is still abusing illegal controlled substances.”
The documents further allege that the Olympian left empty baggies of cocaine around his family’s home, including in the bedrooms of his children, and that he had driven his children to school while intoxicated.
