Panchayat Development Officer (PDO) of Ugnikeri Gram Panchayat in Kalghatgi taluk Abdul Razak Maniyar has been suspended on the charge of illegal transfer of money from the gram panchayat’s Escrow account to private individuals.

Chief Executive Officer of Dharwad Zilla Panchayat Bhuvanesh Patil has issued an order suspending the PDO after preliminary findings revealed that while serving earlier at Galagi Hulakoppa Gram Panchayat, Maniyar was involved in financial misappropriation.
