Gaza City awoke on Wednesday morning to scenes of devastation and disbelief, after what residents described as one of the heaviest nights of Israeli bombardment in recent weeks. Residents described fire raining down on tents, ambulances and homes, with entire neighborhoods lit ablaze. The intensity of the attacks left many stunned that they had survived at all.
