White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt echoed Donald Trump’s anti-media rhetoric during an interview with The Daily Caller published Monday, describing CBS anchor Margaret Brennan as “stupid.”
Trump was speaking with Caller reporter Reagan Reese about the media coverage of himself and his administration when the talk turned to Brennan, the host of CBS’ “Face The Nation.”
“Margaret Brennan. What do you think of her?” Trump asked.
“She’s stupid. You can put that on the record,” Leavitt said.
“She’s nasty,” Trump added.
