A coffee shop worker was left fuming after she was fined £100 for parking just two inches over a white line.
Lisa Henderson, 56, paid £1.95 to park her Mini for an hour at a car park in Newark, Nottinghamshire, on August 9.
However, despite leaving after only 30 minutes, the mother-of-two was stunned when she received a £100 penalty in the post two weeks later.
The letter included photographs of Ms Henderson's Mini with the front tyre slightly crossing the painted white line of the parking bay.
Ms Henderson said: 'If I'd parked in a disabled bay, if I'd parked inconsiderately or where I shouldn't have, then absolutely, I would understand the fine.
