A mother-of-three who died while swimming in a reservoir told her partner 'I can't do it' before she went under the water, an inquest opening has heard.
The body of Kimberley Johnson, 33, was pulled from Strinesdale Reservoir near Oldham on August 17.
The machine operator, who was born in Rochdale and lived in Oldham, had been drinking alcohol and smoking cannabis, the hearing was told.
Kimberley, who was at the reservoir with her partner Daniel, then decided to go for a swim.
Police coroner's officer Cathy Dickson said: 'They'd drunk some alcohol and smoked cannabis. She decided to go for a swim.
