Fox News senior medical analyst Dr. Marc Siegel defended President Donald Trump amid new questions about his health with some over-the-top praise.
“President Trump doesn’t use a teleprompter. He talks just clearly,” he said on Tuesday. “You’re sitting there mesmerized as he talks.”
Siegel compared Trump to former President Joe Biden.
“We had a guy doing, we called them gaffes, but he didn’t know where he was,” Siegel said, later adding that Biden is “demented.”
Siegel in 2020 predicted that the “worst, worst-case scenario” for COVID-19 was that “it could be the flu.” Later that same year, he declared Trump to be “very cognitively advanced” after the president’s infamous “person, woman, man, camera, TV” interview.
