A suspect has been captured on camera fleeing during an attempted arrest on a North London high street.
Witnesses shared footage of a man escaping from his car was swooped on the High Road in North Finchley at about 12noon on Tuesday.
Footage showed windows of the vehicle being smashed before an occupant runs off.
That was followed by a chase along the street in one of the capital's outlying suburbs.
A Metropolitan Police spokesperson told the Daily Mail: 'On Tuesday, 2 September at approximately 11:45hrs police boxed a suspect car in on North Finchley Road, N12, after signalling it to stop.
