Jennifer Aniston’s reason for skipping the Met Gala makes perfect sense.
The star of “The Morning Show” opened up about why she’s never attended the biggest night in fashion during an interview for Glamour magazine’s September issue, where she said the event is just too high-pressure for her to RSVP.
Though Aniston said she has been invited and regularly attends things like the Golden Globes or the Emmy Awards, she admitted the whole ordeal “overwhelms” her.
“It’s the getting ready, the putting on the dress,” she said. “I’m a ‘jeans and flip-flops and tank top’ kind of girl.”
While the “Friends” icon said she loves “dressing up,” she said that getting ready for the Met Gala felt like it would be too much of a “mental game.”
