Vladimir Putin has today accused Europe of spreading 'hysteria' and 'horror stories', after France and Germany warned of a possible Russian attack.
Speaking in China during a visit, Putin said claims by European leaders that Russia would one day attack deeper into Europe were 'hysteria' and 'horror stories'.
Yesterday, French hospitals were ordered to make preparations for an imminent war in Europe while Germany said it is on alert for Russia's military drills.
France's ministry of health told health bodies across the country to prepare for a possible 'major engagement' by March 2026.
The French government is reportedly predicting a scenario where the nation would become a supporting state that has the capacity to take a massive number of wounded soldiers from France and other European nations.
