Former Vice-President Jagdeep Dhankhar moved out of the Vice-President’s Enclave on Monday (September 1, 2025), more than a month after his resignation from the post. He had resigned on July 21, the first day of the Parliament’s Monsoon Session, citing health reasons.
He has shifted out to Indian Lok Dal President Abhay Chautala’s farmhouse in Chhatarpur in the Capital, till the Central Public Works Department can ready his retirement home. He has been allotted a type-8 residence, which is the largest category of the official bungalows at A.P.J Abdul Kalam Road. It is estimated that it will take about three months for repairs and renovation.
