A man has been arrested after a car crashed into the Russian consulate in Sydney's eastern suburbs.
Footage showed a car with a smashed window abandoned next to a Russian flagpole at the government building on Fullerton Street, in Woollahra, at 8am on Monday
A NSW Police spokesman said officers had responded moments earlier to reports of an unauthorised vehicle parked in the driveway.
Officers attempted to speak to the driver before he drove into the gates of the property.
A 39-year-old man was arrested and a 24-year-old constable was injured on his hand.
