Jewish Agency Chairman Doron Almog was recently advised to cancel a trip to South Africa out of concern that he might be detained for questioning upon his arrival over alleged complicity in Israeli war crimes. The decision was made as a precaution, Jewish Agency officials said, to avoid the risk of legal or diplomatic complications.
