A Turkish transgender drag queen has been welcomed into Britain with a 'global talent' visa.
The special visa scheme is meant for those with exceptional talents in music, theatre and dance and those applying are expected to prove their skills.
Applicants must be endorsed by the Arts Council before visas are signed off by the Home Office.
Those who are successful are able to bring their family into the UK as dependents and stay for up to five years at a time.
Kübra Uzun has received the coveted visa and is a transgender drag artist and 'LGBTQIA+ rights activist' from Istanbul, who goes by the stage name of Q-BRA.
