In view of the Vinayaka idol procession and immersion scheduled for Sunday, traffic diversions will be in effect from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. in areas under the Tambaram City Police jurisdiction to facilitate the smooth conduct of the event, and ensure free flow of traffic.
On Velachery Main Road, vehicles heading from Santhosapuram to Semmozhi Salai and Mambakkam will be diverted via Medavakkam New Bridge. They must take a ‘U’ Turn at Jeyachandran Textile Junction and traverse Medavakkam Bridge Service Road, Semmozhi Salai, and Radha Nagar (Reliance Digital).
