Ministry of Environment forms State-level EIA Authority and Expert Appraisal Committees in Kerala for environmental decision-making.
The Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change has issued a notification constituting the State-level Environment Impact Assessment Authority, Kerala, and three zonal State-level Expert Appraisal Committees.
The Authority will be chaired by former IAS officer P.H. Kurian, with Raveendran Thekkeparambil as a member. The Secretary, Department of Environment, Kerala, will serve as the Member Secretary.
