In his final appearance on ESPN’s “College GameDay,” Lee Corso donned the same mascot headgear he did in 1996 when he created one of college football’s most beloved traditions.
Corso once again slipped on Brutus Buckeye’s head to signify his prediction that the No. 3 Ohio State Buckeyes would beat the No. 1 Texas Longhorns on Saturday. He wore Brutus’ head in October 1996 ahead of the Buckeyes’ matchup against the Penn State Nittany Lions.
"Give me my first love!"
Lee Corso's first-ever headgear pick belonged to Brutus and the Buckeyes and it's only fitting that his last one is the same ❤️ pic.twitter.com/A8Fgj8b3TR
